Fairfax advises Astaire Group plc on its offer for Dowgate Capital
Fairfax is the nominated adviser to Astaire Group plc which it advised in relation to the offer of a combination of cash and new Astaire Group plc shares. The offer was initially made on a hostile basis but was eventually recommended after Astaire Group plc received over 50% acceptances.
