Fairfax I.S. PLC has successfully raised a further €250m for Speymill Deutsche Immobilien Co PLC ("SDIC") in a secondary placing of 250m C-Shares at a price of €1.00 per share. In March 2006 at IPO Fairfax raised €250m to launch the company.

Since March 2006 SDIC has successfully notarised approximately €902m properties, amassing a Pan-German portfolio of over 16,600 units. SDIC aims to continue employing its proven investment process, currently notarising at a rate of approximately €100m per month to effectively double its current size.
