As the Company’s Sponsor Fairfax I.S. PLC (“Fairfax”) is please to announce that today Premier Renewable Energy Fund Limited (“PREF” or the “Company”) has been Listed on the Official List and admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

PREF is a newly incorporated closed-ended Guernsey registered investment company, established to make and hold investments in companies that generate power from renewable energy sources or that will be beneficiaries of the expected growth in this sector. The portfolio may also include utilities that generate a significant proportion of their earnings from renewable energy and companies that are commercialising other renewable technologies.

The Company has been launched in connection with a scheme of reconstruction and voluntary winding up of European Utilities Trust PLC.
